“Dr. Ramsey has played a major role in my health and well-being. I’ve always valued a balance between Eastern and Western medicine, and finding a doctor who not only acknowledged but respected that was incredible.

I came to Dr. Ramsey after hitting a roadblock with endometriosis and ovarian cysts, which led to other health complications. Other doctors urged me to have a hysterectomy and warned that I would likely lose at least one ovary if they attempted surgery. But Jamie truly listened—she spoke to me with both expertise and heart, taking all my concerns into account, especially my dream of having a child.

She agreed to perform the necessary surgery, and not only did she successfully remove all of my endometriosis—which was wrapped around my colon, fallopian tubes, and more—but she also preserved my fertility. I will never forget waking up to see tears in her eyes as she told me I would still be able to have a baby.

Thanks to her care, I gave birth to a healthy baby boy—who is now nine years old! Jamie’s medical practice has since expanded into longevity and women’s health beyond gynecology, and she remains my trusted advisor. She continues to guide me through this next chapter of life, helping me balance my hormones and educating me on longevity and graceful aging, even down to beauty routines that fit my lifestyle.

Dr. Ramsey is more than a doctor—she is a true partner in health, and I am beyond grateful for her care.”

“Recently, I faced a concerning medical issue, and Dr. Ramsey got me in immediately. She made time for me, listened to my symptoms and fears with the compassion of a dear friend, and knew exactly how to handle a terrified patient.

Dr. Ramsey performed a comprehensive exam and even conducted an ultrasound herself right in the office, allowing her to gather crucial information on the spot. I LOVE this about her new practice—what could have taken weeks at another doctor’s office was handled in a single visit.

Thank you, Dr. Ramsey, for providing this level of care. It’s truly priceless.”

“Dr. Ramsey entered my life at a time of deep vulnerability—when I was pregnant with my third son. The weight of my past experiences loomed large.

My first son faced a life-threatening birth defect that required us to relocate across the state to a high-level NICU, the only place that could offer any chance of saving him. For weeks, I couldn’t even touch him.

My second pregnancy, while physically healthy, quickly spiraled into an emergency c-section. The anesthesia failed to take effect swiftly enough, and the medical team made the decision to put me under completely. The last thing I remember was asking if they could please bring my husband to my side. In the chaos, I had no idea where he was. I wasn’t even awake when my second son took his first breath.

Though both experiences resulted in the survival of my newborns, they left me with a perception of childbirth as cold, clinical, and terrifying. I carried an overwhelming sense of fear—yet there was also a quiet shame, as if my inability to experience birth the way it was “supposed to” was somehow a personal failure.

When I became pregnant again, I made a bold decision: I would find a new doctor. That’s when I met Dr. Ramsey. She introduced me to the concept of a family-centered c-section, something I had never heard of before. It filled me with excitement and hope. While I knew a vaginal birth was out of reach, I longed for something more intimate, more connected. I yearned for an experience that could bring me closer to my child—a moment that celebrated life instead of feeling dictated by fear. We discussed everything: who I wanted present, the lighting, the music, how I wanted my baby brought to me the moment he was born. For the first time, I felt like I had a say, like my voice mattered in the process of bringing my child into the world.

When the day arrived, the birth unfolded precisely as I had hoped—personal, intimate, and real. I felt as though Dr. Ramsey had truly heard me. She had remembered every detail we discussed. In fact, after my son was born, I overheard some of the other medical staff chatting casually about their plans for the rest of their day. Dr. Ramsey immediately stepped in, reminding them that this was a family-centered c-section and that silence was appreciated. I can’t remember a time in a medical setting where I felt so deeply valued—not just as a patient, but as a mother. Ten years later, I still feel emotional and grateful for what she gave me: the birth experience I never thought possible. It was as if my husband, my baby, and I were the only people in that room.

What Dr. Ramsey gave me that day was more than just a birth plan—it was an experience of being seen, heard, and respected. She treated me with a kindness and empathy that is so often missing in today’s medical world. She protected me, understood my hopes, and never wavered in ensuring my wishes were fulfilled. For this, I will always be forever grateful.”

“When I first met you you did an exam and sent me for a mammogram. After the mammogram you told me there was a suspicious area on one breast. I said I was aware of that because I previously had an MRI guided biopsy that said it was benign and a chip was left there. You gently explained to my husband and me that the chip was “near” the spot you were concerned with.

Since I was heading back to Florida I had another biopsy done there.  It was malignant.

I would have never had the biopsy done because I just assumed the area of concern was marked by a chip and was benign.  I’m grateful that you picked up on it!

You’re such a wonderful physician and kind person and I look forward to seeing you at  Ramsey Modern Wellness and wishing you much success!”

“Dear Jamie, I was referred to you when my ob gyn, Dr. Hernandez left Brevard. Most of us are apprehensive about receiving a new doctor and how they will respond to our needs. As soon as I walked into the examining room and was greeted with your warm smile, immediate concern, focus upon me and my health, all fear was laid aside. Your compassionate approach to healthcare has made such a significant impact upon my life.

I have always never hesitated to discuss the most personal issues with you because I know I will ensure the utmost immediate care. My prayers have been answered with your return to Brevard to practice.”

“Wishing you all the best in your new practice, Dr. Ramsey.  My experience of a late term pregnancy loss was one of the most profound life-experiences filled with many conflicting emotions.  Your compassion, genuine relatability to me as a fellow woman, and unwavering professionalism in the face of intense crisis gave me hope.  In a medical environment that’s not often set up to support women’s health, you maintained the utmost level of care for me (and my husband)-we felt very alone and unsure of our next steps, and you were the voice of reassurance and guidance.  You did this with impartiality and a genuine concern that many in medicine have lost in their stacks of paperwork.  I am grateful to you every day.

When I look into the face of my now three year old little boy, I am reminded how fortunate we were to have you as my advocate, my doctor.”

“She delivered my son Nolan. She was telling me and my husband it was the first baby she ever delivered and this was in Athens,GA when she was a registered nurse.  There was no time for the doctor to get into the delivery room. He was born 7/26/2000. It was very special to me and she was so kind and so heartfelt when I felt like I was dying. I opted to have nothing for pain but she helped me to breathe. I recall Nolan had reached a point that I needed to roll onto my side but I physically could not do it. My husband just backed away and Jamie with the help of another nurse, just flipped me onto my side because my position was causing distress to the baby. I do not know what made it so special but her telling me that was the first baby she had ever delivered was meaningful to me.”

“I met Dr. Ramsey in 2012. She was one of the doctors on staff at an office that my midwifery used to support them while they were delivering babies at the hospital. It was routine that we, the patients from the midwifery, would need to meet all the doctors that could be at our birth. I met Dr. Ramsey in that process. My midwife did not need assistance from a doctor in my birth so, my interaction with her then was brief.

I met Dr. Ramsey again, while I was attending one of my friends births, and it happen to be that many of my friends birthed their babies with her. She was willing to do what the moms wanted within logical reason. It was a beautiful time for the Moms around me. I know that Dr. Ramsey did everything she could do to make their birth’s safe and holistic with even when they needed a higher level of care than their midwife could provide.

Thank you Dr. Ramsey for creating a place where you can put your patient first and you can put all those innovative ideas you have picked up along the way into practice!”
